Truth or Lie

Will You Follow the World’s Lie or God’s Truth?

We live in a world that shouts loud lies and whispers truth. Culture tells us to chase fame, prioritize comfort, and define our own version of right and wrong. It looks appealing—packaged in success, self-love, and “living your truth.” But beneath the surface, it often leads to anxiety, emptiness, and confusion.

God offers eternal life. His truth may not be trendy according to this world, but it’s timeless and essential. While the world says, “Do what feels good,” God says, “Do what is right. "Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.James 4:17".” While the world says, “You are enough,” God says, “Without Me, you can do nothing—but with Me, all things are possible.” “I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.John 15:5”

The real question is: Whose voice will you follow?

Jesus said,  …“If you continue in My word, then you are truly My disciples;  and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8:31-32. The world’s lies encourage pride, exalts performance and enslaves us to sin. God’s truth frees us to live with purpose, clarity, and peace—even when it costs us popularity.

Every day, we choose whose words shape our thinking, our values, and our direction. The world’s lie is loud. But God’s truth is everlasting—Are you willing to stand for God’s truth and find out what real purpose is all about?
